The Switch remaster of Donkey Kong Country Returns will retail for $60, confirming the price of the upcoming remaster of the Wii game for the Nintendo Switch.
The remaster will cost $60 in North America, as confirmed by the game’s eShop pre-order page. This price aligns with other recent “HD” remasters from Nintendo, such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.
However, some remasters, like Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Metroid Prime Remastered, were priced at $50.
The game was originally released in 2010 for the Nintendo Wii. The remaster is being developed by Forever Entertainment SA, a Polish publisher and developer known for remakes like Panzer Dragoon Remake and The House of the Dead Remake.
DK Country Returns HD is scheduled for release on January 16, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch. The remaster will include all 80 levels from the original game, including the new levels added to the 3DS port.
Now we have a confirmation of the price and release date for the upcoming Donkey Kong Country Returns HD remaster for the Nintendo Switch.
