FromSoftware, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Elden Ring, has expressed interest in seeing an adaptation of the game, possibly in the form of a film.
Hidetaka Miyazaki, the president and director of FromSoftware, stated that he sees “no reason to deny another interpretation or adaptation of Elden Ring, a movie for example.”
Miyazaki acknowledged that FromSoftware lacks the expertise to produce an adaptation themselves, emphasizing the need for a strong partner. But he stressed the importance of building trust and reaching a mutual understanding with any potential partner regarding the adaptation’s goals.
Despite the need for collaboration, Miyazaki confirmed that FromSoftware has “interest, for sure” in seeing an Elden Ring adaptation.
